Sunday's New York Post carried a story on page three about warning labels that are soon to appear on the packages of Viagra, Cialis and other impotency drugs. The warning, approved recently by the FDA, informs users that by taking such drugs they risk blindness.
Has anyone in the group or anyone they know had a bad reaction to drugs of this type? It interests me since as a personal trainer and the creator of the fitness DVD "The Bedroom Workout For Men" I'm geared towards a more natural approach to such problems rather then having people rely on the quick fix "youth in a bottle" methods that are popular but at risks still undetermined.

Re: Is Love TRULY Blind?
Tue, July 12, 2005 - 7:08 AMI've heard of the warning, but never heard of anyone who actually went blind. I've also been told that a side effect of Viagra is a bluish tinge to the vision.

Wed, July 27, 2005 - 5:28 PMin Canada the warning is now mandatory. But the CAnadian Health organizations tend to be a lot more careful than in the States.

Re: Is Love TRULY Blind?
Wed, July 27, 2005 - 7:58 PMThis isn't exactly the same thing, but during the Fen-Phen thing, I knew several women who were having terrible reactions but would not stop taking the drug because they were terrified of getting fat again, as if it were out of their control. It seems people don't trust their own abilities to control a problem.
